Announcing LP 1: Blood & Iron

Christopher Thomas is excited to share all of the blood, sweat, and tears (especially blood) that they have put into their very first album, Blood & Iron. A work in progress over 2025, some of the songs have been in the vault of frontman Chris Watters over the last decade. With notes of the California grunge sound they have exhibited in the past, this album very heavily explores the nuances of a more authentic East coast sludge metal profile. This work is loosely inspired by vampires and gothic attitudes, exemplified by the first single announced, 'El Conde', which will premiere in February with an animated music video by Nash Luczny.
EP 2 - In My Eyes

On July 17, 2025, Christopher Thomas released their second EP, In My Eyes. The EP loosely explores the thoughts and feelings of a man lost at sea, driven to insanity by keeping no company but his own. With 5 tracks, the EP includes four original songs and a blended cover of both versions of 'Flatlands', meshing the performances of Chelsea Wolfe and Mark Lanegan.

Damon Dunbar of online music magazine Desert Rock United conducted an interview with Chris Watters, frontman of Christopher Thomas last week. Chris talks about his influences, dreams, struggles, and Josh Homme to promote their upcoming sophomore EP.
